The Amster Building today houses the Palace Pharmacy and Thompson & DeRose Attorneys and is listed on the National Registry of Historic Places. It was built in 1907 of fired red brick and cast metal cornices and was home to the Ryan-Evans drug store.

In 1908 the Palace Pharmacy was located on the first floor at 282 North Broad Street while upstairs was the office of Dr. P. B. Caler, Dentist.
