Window Rock, Arizona, serves as the seat of government and capital of the Navajo Nation. It derives its name from the major local landmark, the rock-with-hole-through-it (Navajo: tségháhoodzání) known in English as "Window Rock".

The Hubbell Trading Post National Historic Site was purchased in 1878 by John Lorenzo Hubbell. It is located on the Navajo Reservation in Ganado, Arizona.
